Event Summary

The Rohan 245 Trail Classic—is a fundraising event to benefit the Rohan Bloom Foundation. The Foundation gets its name from a brave young man, Rohan Bloom, who lost his fight against cancer.

Spectacular views, challenging routes and a brilliant cause to support children with cancer. This is not just Heritage Day; it is Remembrance Day.

De Grendel Wine Estate

De Grendel Wine Estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley on Plattekloof Road.

Directions:

  • From the Cape Town CBD and head northwest on M6 toward the N1
  • Merge onto the N1 / N7 interchange heading toward Malmesbury
  • Take the N7 north toward Malmesbury
  • Take exit 17 and turn right onto Plattekloof Road
  • Turn left onto the estate road and follow signs to the race village / parking

Thursday 24 September from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Dragonfly Tri gazebo.

Available at registration. Late entries attract a R50 late entry fee. Late entries don’t qualify for medals or prizes. Rather enter early and stand a chance to WIN.

7:30am – Rohan Bloom 18km
8:30am – Jaime Rose Whitesman 10km
8:45am – Hunter Emms 5km

No Refunds or Substitutions without a FlexiPass Add-On.

FlexiPass Add-On:

  • 1 Substitution up to 12 noon the day before the event.
  • 100% refund of the entry fee until 12 noon 30 calendar days prior to the event.
  • 50% refund of the entry fee until 12 noon 7 calendar days prior to the event.
  • No refunds within 7 calendar days prior to the event date.

The FlexiPass Add-On must be selected on check-out when entering the event and cannot be added later.

Estimated time is 10:30, however podium presentations will take place once all categories have finished. We keep the best prizes for the lucky draw! Please note, you have to be at prize giving to collect your podium prize or lucky draw prize. If you are not at prize giving you forfeit your prize.

The Rohan Bloom Foundation is committed to building a much needed Children’s Hospice in Cape Town, Rohan House, offering the necessary care to patients, whilst ensuring emotional and psychological support for the family. The Foundation aims to bring together the skills, resources and inspiration to support terminally ill children and their families.

  • Soho Coffee – will be serving freshly brewed coffee.
  • Woodstock Food Truck – will be firing up delicious boerie rolls and juicy burgers.
  • Pizza Trader – will be serving their famous, freshly made pizzas.

Parking is on the grass section next to the dam and not by the restaurant. Please follow the instructions of the parking marshals.
